Installation: Clips & Attachment Methods
When it comes to installing Christmas lights, the right clip can make all the difference. Whether you're lighting up rooflines with gutters or shingles, clips help create a clean, professional-looking display while protecting both your lights and your home’s surfaces.
A Note on Stucco:
At this time, we do not recommend any specific clip for stucco surfaces. Due to stucco’s brittle and textured nature, standard clips may not adhere well and could cause damage during installation or removal. If you're working with stucco, consider alternative mounting methods such as outdoor-rated adhesive hooks or attaching lights to nearby wood trim or fascia boards.
Our wide selection of clips is designed to work with different bulb sizes and installation surfaces. Choosing the correct clip for your setup helps maintain proper bulb orientation, improves display stability in wind or weather, and makes installation and removal faster and easier.
How to Use Christmas Light Clips
To help you get started, we’ve included tutorial videos from our YouTube channel. These walkthroughs show how to properly attach and use a variety of clips with common socket lines and bulb types. While not every clip has its own video, most follow similar application methods.

Helpful Tip:
Clips are not one-size-fits-all. Be sure to double-check your bulb type (C7, C9, etc.), socket line, and mounting surface before purchasing.
