The Gallery can be accessed from the Navigation Pane on the left side of the Console screen. This section displays both your custom effects and Twinkly’s built-in effects.

From the Gallery, you can directly install effects onto your Installations and Objects. Please note that installing an effect will switch off the selected devices to allow the effect to be added. After the upload, you will need to power the devices back on from the Objects or Installations screen (Or in the app).

To upload a new custom effect:
1. Click the “+ Upload” button located in the top right corner of the screen.
2. A pop-up window will appear.
3. Use the pop-up to upload your custom effect file.

Some important notes:

• Videos can be uploaded in formats such as mp4, AVI, flv, mov, and MPEG, with a maximum file size limit of 100 MB
• It is crucial that the resolution of any images or videos matches the number of lamps in your installation. For instance, if your setup consists of 1000 lamps in width and 250 in length, your image or video should ideally be 1000x250 pixels. This alignment is essential to ensure the highest fidelity between what is displayed on the screen and what will be seen in your installation.
  • To find the ratio, go into objects and select the one that you are working with and hover over the information icon to see video recommendation.
• When creating custom effects, it is highly recommended to consider the layout of your installation, maintaining an appropriate ratio of base to height (b:h) for optimal results. This practice helps to prevent any unwanted stretching or cropping of your content, ensuring that your designs are rendered accurately and effectively.
